Dome head rivets, otherwise known as open-end rivets, are mainly used in applications with no access to the workpiece's rear (blindside).   

Once the mandrel is removed from the rivet's mandrel side, the domed head will be left exposed.  

Rivets are measured in installed grip range and length.
