The dressing stone is used to clean and unclog any grinding point or grinding wheel.   

Simply clamp the stone dresser in a vice and clean the grinding point by grinding it.  

The stone dresser has two different sides having two different grains, for a more aggressive reshape of the desired grinding point or to cleanunclog it.
